    Absolutely, Leo! These roles are meant to serve as a general guide, but they can (and should) be adjusted to accommodate what makes the most sense to your organization and project needs. If you're the Process Owner, then you may be able to streamline some of the effort to ensure any solutions you identify get embedded into the process you own.

    However, a risk that you may encounter is that the amount of time you can dedicate to each role may either cause one role to suffer or possibly cause the project to take longer than usual. Also, since you're so integrated into the process as its owner, it may prevent you from finding ideal opportunities, as well as your SMEs on the project team (especially those who happen to work for you and may not be forth-coming in evaluating the problem or proposing solutions).

    Again, it will always be unique with each company, but I recommend doing what makes the most sense to you and your organization even if that means you need to deviate a bit from these pre-defined roles.

    Hi Matt,

    Do you think it is also possible to take on more than one role? For example I would like to become a process owner and also lead the LSS project in capacity of BB or GB also.

    Thank you Jun for the great feedback, but sorry for the problems you've been having in accessing some of the videos. Frankly, I'm not sure what's causing that kind of error. For you to add a comment here tells me you're already logged in and it's odd to me that it would be intermittently working for you. I just tested this video and it seems to be working fine.

    I can only suppose there may have been connection problems from Vimeo.com who hosts the source videos. If the problem persists, then please feel free to contact me with further details and I can try to investigate it further.
